Follow this program just as it is planned out, make plans on working out 4 to 6 times per week, if you do not make at least 4 times in any given week you need to go back redo that week. But whatever you do, do not give up.

Once you are ready to start training, you need to take care not to start too quickly. If you have never run a 5K before you are taking on a challenge, and it would be unrealistic to think about winning the race. Instead, you want to focus on finishing your first 5K run.
